Akashi City Museum of Culture 明石市立文化博物館 is a small museum laid out over two floors. The permanent exhibition room has some artifacts and history relating to the Akashi area. The special exhibition room changes every few months and depending on what is on display determines the entrance price. Most information about the exhibits are in Japanese.
Entrance to the special dinosaur exhibition held over summer of 2019 was ¥800 per adult.
The museum also has a hands-on experience room for the kids. Akashi City Museum of Culture is just a short walk from Akashi Station, next to Akashi Park.
