Cafe & Select Shop Lamer on Awaji Island is a former garment factory that has been renovated into a stylish space with amazing views of Akashi Kaikyo Bridge.

The first floor has a select shop with fashion and interior goods. Head up the stairs and a spacious open floor cafe with instagrammable photo spots presents itself. The menu is constantly changing but a lunch set goes for about ¥1200. Plenty of gorgeous dessert options along with a wide selection of drinks.

We didn’t get outside to the terrace (because it was too hot) but on a good weather day this is a must with views looking back over Akashi Kaikyo Bridge towards Kobe and Akashi.

Cafe & Select Shop Lamer is a children friendly cafe with highchairs available and kids play corner. The ladies bathroom also has a changing table.
