Grateful’s グレイトフルズ 須磨 is an American style hamburger diner located on the beach front at JR Suma Station. This is the only restaurant immediately on the beach.
The burgers are tasty although (depending on what country you are from) they might be a bit more expensive than you are used to. The basic burger goes for ¥680 with more expensive ones such as the New York BLT Burger at ¥1180. Add ¥500 and you get a side of fries, salad and a soft drink. Alcohol drinks are from ¥500.
Grateful’s also sell fish & chips, locomoco and a handful of sides and desserts. It has a 2nd floor deck with great views of the beach. The 2nd floor deck is available to be booked for a private BBQ course.
It would be great if there was a strip of permenant cafes and restaurants along the beach front here but we should be fortunate that Grateful’s is decent place we good food, a nice selection of drinks at reasonable prices.
