Grumpy Kitchen グランピーキッチン is a dedicated take-out pie shop right in front of Hanshin Uozaki Station in Kobe, Japan.
Grumpy Kitchen sell arguably the best pies in Kansai using high quality ingredients. The pastry and fillings are all homemade.
The menu includes the traditional beef pie, chicken cream pie, chicken curry pie, Aussie beef pie, British pork pie, Korean kimchi pie, Italian pie and plenty more. They also sell a variety of freshly baked sweets including the famous Australian lamington.
On certain evenings, the shop transforms into a little standing bar with pinchos and good vibes.
Grumpy Kitchen is a family run business and opened in 2019. The co-owner and head chef Graeme hails from South Africa and worked as an executive chef in the hotel industry across the globe for over 35 years.
