Profile
Kobe City Forest Botanical Garden or Kobe Municipal Arboretum (Kobe Shinrin Shokubutsuen) is one of the largest botanical gardens in Japan with plants and trees from Kobe’s sister cities around the world, such as Seattle, US and Brisbane, Australia.
The smell of the gum trees (eucalyptus) made me feel like I was back in Australia.
The Arboretum is best visited in Autumn from mid October to early December when the colours of the maple leaves are at their best.
Admission is ¥300 per adult and parking is ¥500 per car.
