Kobe Fruit & Flower Park 道の駅 神戸フルーツ・フラワーパーク大沢 is a large open multi-purpose facility in the north ward of Kobe.
It much more than a park and combines wide open spaces with beautiful flower gardens, fruit picking, a produce market, barbeque area and a hotel with a hot spring (onsen).
Kobe Hotel Fruit Flower building is designed after Rijksmuseum – the Dutch National Museum in Amsterdam. The hotel facilities include the Ozo Onsen, restaurant, swimming pool (summer season) and a gift shop.
Farm Circus is the most recent addition to the park (opening 2017). The concept of Farm Circus is to promote and sell locally grown produce. There is an Italian restaurant, bakery, cafe, learning center and market selling fruit and veg direct to the public.
There are various fruits such as apples, grapes and peaches to enjoy Fruit Picking with the season usually running from late July – late October.
Great for families, the other attractions of Kobe Fruit Flower Park include the Kobe Fairyland Amusement Park, ferris wheel, go carts, putter golf course, playground and multi purpose field.
The car parking and gardens are free. Open times vary between facilities so please check the official website for the correct times.
