Kobe Shushinkan is a sake brewery and gift shop in the Mikage region of the Nadagogo district. Its home to the legendary Fukuju sake.
The sake tasting here was plentiful and free of charge with the gift shop containing a wide variety of goods.
Something we didn’t get to enjoy was sake & Japanese cuisine at the Sakabayashi restaurant on the premises.
The restaurant offers seasonal dishes for lunch and dinner with sake pairings to match.
You can also observe sake making in person, however a reservation required. There are various events at the large wooden hall throughout the year too.
Kobe Shushinkan is 800 meter walk south of Hanshin Ishiyagawa Station.
