Murphy’s Irish Barマーフィーズ アイリッシュバー in Akashi, Hyogo has been around since 1993. It is the first Irish Bar to be opened by an Irishman in Japan. It has a great atmosphere with international and Japanese staff.
Akashi is a short train ride (15 mins) from Kobe’s main Sannomiya station. The bar is fully stocked with around 400 different types of alcohol including 150 whiskies from all over the world, including more than 30 Irish whiskies. It has both Guinness and Kilkenny on tap plus a range of craft beers.
It’s s a spacious 1,000sq.ft. bar with a capacity of 80 .
Murphy’s Akashi also caters for parties and special events plus live sports including rugby and football on a big screen .
