Rokko Cable Car 六甲ケーブル is a great experience and excellent way to get up Mt Rokko and enjoy the amazing views of Kobe.
The Rokko Cable Car Station is accessible by Kobe City Bus No. 16 from Hanshin Mikage, JR Rokkomichi or Hankyu Rokko Stations. The bus fee is ¥210 regardless of where you board.
From the Rokko Cable Shita Station you can purchase a variety of tickets and day passes which get you cable car access and entry into various sites.
Standard cable car ticket costs ¥590 one-way or ¥1000 return.
We recommend getting the ¥1350 return ticket, along with the cable car, this gives you free bus rides between the various Rokko-San sites.
The cable car runs every 20 minutes between the Rokko Cable Shita Station 六甲ケーブル下駅 (lower) and the Rokko Sanjo Station 六甲山上駅 (upper).
