Rokko Garden Terrace | Rokko-Shidare Observatory

Rokko Garden Terrace 六甲ガーデンテラス & Rokko-Shidare Observatory 自然体感展望台 六甲枝垂れ are located in the same area with a handful of shops and restaurants and amazing views over Kobe and Osaka.

The Rokko Shidare Observatory is a unique landmark on the top of Mt Rokko. It is designed to let the natural elements flow in and around like a giant breathing tree. The mesh dome is 16 meters in diameter. Depending on the time of day and the season you can experience something different with the wind room, sun room and view terrace.

The Garden Terrace restaurants include the popular French-style Granite Cafe, Rokkosan Jingisukan Palace which is a mutton, Kobe beef and seafood BBQ grill restaurant and  the more casual Rokko View Palace and Food Terrace.

Enjoy walking in and around the view tower, terrace and few shops selling select Kobe and abroad goods.

NB. Shop and Restaurant open times vary depending on season. Also be careful to check the last bus and cable car times if you travelled up this way.
