Sunflower Hill Park (Himawari-no-oka Park)

Sunflower Hill Park (Himawari-no-oka Park, ひまわりの丘公園) is a large open park with a big playground in Ono, Hyogo. During the summer season the neighbouring field is full of sunflowers. You can wander freely around the field and towards the end of the sunflower season you can cut and bring home the sunflowers. During the autumn season the same field is full of cosmos flowers.

Sunflower Hill Park is a popular place and on the weekends it can get crowded, especially around the playground with children and families. There are toilets, a small shop and restaurant facilities as well. It’s free to enter. Access by car.

Across the road is Kyoshin Dairy Farm and well worth a visit, you can easily walk there and see the cows in the paddock or enjoy a meal at the farm’s restaurant.
