Like most places around the world, all major Halloween events have been cancelled this year due to COVID-19. However there are a handful of smaller Halloween events happening in Kobe over the next couple of weeks.
So here is our brief guide to Halloween in Kobe for 2020. If you know fo any other Halloween events, please let us know in the comments.

Rokko Island Halloween Events
Every year Rokko Island hosts the best Halloween party for families in the region. This year the mainparty is cancelled but there are still are number of ways you can enjoy the halloween season.
There is an online photo contest, a stamp rally and some restaurants/bars on the artificial island are serving special halloween themed food and drinks.

Harborland Halloween
In Harborland there are a few photo spots and decorations about. Duo Kobe has a gourmet fair with a chance to win some prices and a Halloween photo spot. The Anpanman museum also has a Halloween event for the kids.

Shiawase-no-mura (Happiness Village)
On October 25th there are a few events and activities for families to enjoy at Shiawase-no-mura from 10am – 3:30pm. Some of the events include taiko drums, mask making and a puppet show. More info here.
Mister Donut Halloween
Not just in Kobe but for the sweet tooth, Mister Donut have released their 2020 doughnuts. Check ’em out here or head to your local shop.
