More Summer Events in Hyogo: Kobe & Akashi

Last week we posted about a few events happening in Harborland this summer. This week we have a few more summer events happening in Kobe and Akashi. Keep cool and enjoy your summer!

Beer in the Park

Running from August 8th to the 11th, Sogoundo Koen (Kobe Sports Park) will hold a twilight beer garden with plenty of food and drink stalls. The theme across the week will be Japanese Cuisine v’s World Cuisine.

Maiko Summer Festival

This family fun summer evening will have a variety of dances throughout the afternoon and a few yatai food stalls and kids games.

Maiko Sunset Beer Garden

Akashi Brewery will be holding a seaside bar just on the west side of the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge. Relax with a beer and enjoy the view of the amazing bridge as the sunsets.

Thai Fair Akashi 2019

This 2 day event brings the taste of Thai to Akashi. Catch some Thai boxing, Thai dancing, Thai massage, Thai food stalls and more.

Kobe Yosakoi Festival 2019

Yosakoi is an energetic choreographed dance performed by large groups. Teams from around Japan will join this brightly coloured festival held over 3 days in Harborland and in Tarumi.

Day 1: Friday August 30th 5pm – 8pm (Harborland)
Day 2: Saturday August 31st 10am – 8pm (Harborland)
Day 3: Sunday September 1st. 10am – 7:30pm (Tarumi)
