It sounds like a strange combination, an onsen resort town, traditional setsubun activities and a cosplay festival but that is exactly what will be taking place on Sunday February 3rd.
Arima Onsen in the north of Kobe turns into a street cosplay festival. From 10am to 6pm you can enjoy strolling the streets of the back alleys, shrines and onsen resorts in a kimono or cosplay of your liking.
There will be live concerts, a cosplay parade, esports event and are various setsubun activities such as bean throwing (mamimaki) taking place.
