Earth Day 2019 is official on Monday 22nd April but there are a couple of events happening around Kobe before and after the official day.
1 NPO Peace & Nature have s special Earth Day event at there Ozo base in Kobe’s Kita Ward on Sunday April 21st. Enjoy Yoga, Nature Workshop and some delicious food while discussing Mother Earth. Sign-up here.
2 Free Yoga in Meriken Park. Also on Sunday April 21st is a free Yoga class thanks to Abundance Kobe in Meriken Park, just near the famous BE KOBE sign. The class runs from 10am to 11am. Bring your yoga mat and a drink. Check out the facebook event page fr all the latest details.
3 Earth Day Kobe will be held over 2 days on May 4th & 5th at Minato-no-mori Park (10 minute walk south of Sannomiya Station). There are organic food stalls, activities for the kids and you can bring your old clothes to donate. Visit the official Earth Day Kobe website here.
