NPO Peace & Nature in Kobe are redeveloping a fallow field over 2 days on June 1st and June 8th (Saturday). They are extending an invitation to anyone who wants to experience rice planting.

Peace & Nature are growing rice without any chemical fertilizers or pesticides by using “agricultural fermented pellets” to control weeds, with the help of their neighbors in Ozo, Kita-ku, Kobe.

Planting rice is an experience full of excitement and new realizations! This is a fun event for Japanese and non-Japanese to enjoy together.
